Pharmaceutical law in transport

Transporting medicines is a demanding task for a forwarding company. It’s because safety of the future consumers of medicaments is the most important thing. Pharmacological products must be stored in set temperatures or moistures, because lack of appropriate conditions it may result in losing their properties.
Such transport should run due to requirements regulated by the Act of September 6, 2001 (Journal of Laws 2008, No. 45, item 271, as amended).Further instructions about transporting medicines are predicted in Good Distribution Practice.
Good Distribution Practice are the rules applicable in pharmaceutics, focusing on the road, that the medical products starting with producer, until delivery to apothecaries. Maintaining the quality and immutability of products, and origin from a legal source of delivery, are the priorities of GDP. Filling those conditions is responsibility of the forwarding companies in European Union.
Every product intended for consumption, regardless of whether it is a chocolate bar or an antibiotic, has its own individual storing requirements mentioned on the package. They apply not only to storing, but also to transport. The most difficult stage, in this case, is transport in the so-called cold supply chain. It consists in maintaining the temperature between 2 ° C and 8 ° C. What is more, those parameters cannot be changed even when it is received in distribution point. Every change that follows should be meticulously recorded and monitored.
